By accessing this website or purchasing any products, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms are designed to protect both you and Scamp Fire Studio, and to ensure a respectful, transparent experience for everyone involved. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Product Information & Accuracy

All items offered by Scamp Fire Studio are handmade and may include natural variations in size, shape, color, and finish. These differences are part of the charm and uniqueness of handcrafted ceramics and are not considered defects. I strive to provide accurate descriptions and photographs, but colors and textures may appear differently depending on your screen settings.

Pricing, Payments, Sales Tax & Shipping

Pricing & Currency All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of purchase and is processed securely through Squarespace’s integrated payment system. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and other options as listed at checkout.

Sales Tax Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address and local regulations. Scamp Fire Studio complies with state and local tax laws where required.

Shipping & Delivery Orders are shipped via trusted carriers and include tracking whenever possible. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and vary based on location, package size, and delivery speed. Estimated delivery times are provided, but delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Once a package leaves the studio, I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. If you experience an issue with delivery, please reach out and I’ll do my best to help navigate a solution.

Returns & Refunds

General Policy Due to the handmade nature of each piece, all sales are considered final. I do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged or defective.

Damaged Items If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging. I’ll do my best to offer a replacement or credit for a future purchase, depending on availability and the nature of the damage.

Custom & Commissioned Pieces Custom orders, commissioned work, and one-of-a-kind pieces are non-refundable and non-returnable. These items are made specifically for you and cannot be resold.

Shipping Costs Shipping fees are non-refundable. If a return is approved, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed upon.

Order Cancellations & Mistakes If you need to cancel or modify an order, please contact me immediately. I’ll do my best to accommodate changes, but once an item has been packed or shipped, cancellations may not be possible. Please double-check your cart and shipping details before completing checkout to avoid any mix-ups.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including product designs, photographs, text, branding, and artwork—is the intellectual property of Scamp Fire Studio unless otherwise noted. This includes ceramic forms, surface decoration, naming conventions, and collection themes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this site without prior written permission. Sharing images or links for personal or promotional purposes is welcome, as long as proper credit is given and the work is not altered or misrepresented.

Scamp Fire Studio reserves the right to take appropriate action against unauthorized use or infringement.

Liability Disclaimer

Ceramics, by nature, are fragile and may break, chip, or shatter under various conditions—including normal use, mishandling, or accidental impact. Such breakage can result in sharp edges or fragments that may pose a risk of injury. Scamp Fire Studio is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the use, misuse, handling, or breakage of ceramic items, whether due to inherent material properties, user actions, or unforeseen circumstances.

Customers are responsible for inspecting items before each use. If a piece becomes cracked, chipped, or compromised, please discontinue use immediately to avoid risk of harm. By purchasing or using Scamp Fire Studio products, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with ceramic materials and agree to hold Scamp Fire Studio harmless from any liability related to their use.

Unless otherwise noted in the product description, most pieces are food-safe and suitable for everyday use. I recommend hand-washing to preserve the longevity of glazes and surface detailing. Some items may be microwave-safe, but due to the handmade nature of the work—especially pieces with carving, layered glaze, or sgraffito—please use caution. If you’re ever unsure, feel free to reach out with questions.

Scamp Fire Studio respects your privacy. Any personal information collected during checkout—such as your name, phone number, email, and shipping address—is used solely to process your order and communicate with you about your purchase. I do not sell or share your information with third parties.
